Osteopathic Principles and Practices II-2 (COM 1862)

Osteopathic Principles and Practices II (OPP II) courses will build upon the foundational concepts of osteopathic medicine taught in the OPP I courses and further develop diagnosis and palpatory skills as part of a longitudinal OPP curriculum. Additionally, these courses will expand upon the Osteopathic Structural Examination (OSE) of various clinical presentations and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) technique modalities related to these topics. The OPP II courses are designed to further advance understanding of the principles, philosophies, and practice of osteopathic medicine, and prepare the student to provide patients an integrated approach to medical care.
